Hello,
Like I said in class,I'd like you to read an article on artifical intelligence (post the link, explain the meaning of some words using a monolingual dictionary and summarize the article in one paragraph).
Be prepared to talk about your article in class.
See you next week!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=53K1dMyslJgOn this video we can see the impact of the AI. It's a technology that we could find everywhere in the future. but as they said on the video, if they succeed to build robot as an human there will be a problem for workers because they will takes there job and other things. Moreover, they have to implement a part of ethic in their conception and rules to have no problem. So, in my mind, AI it's a real discovery for the world because it can change the future and our lives but I don't know if all people will accept to live with them everyday and to change their lifestyle. www.sciencedaily.com/terms/artificial_intelligence.htmI find too an article which explain the definition of an AI and in which domains we can find it. I think it's important to know what we can do with this kind of technology.

www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/jan/29/artificial-intelligence-strong-concern-bill-gatesThis article speaks about the AI. Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking think that will be dangerous for the human race. Bill gates tells that the machine can do a lot of jobs for us but without to be super intelligence.Elon Musk thinks that we should be careful about artificial intelligence. Professor Hawking tells “The primitive forms of artificial intelligence we already have, have proved very useful. But I think the development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race".

www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/features/alex-garlands-film-ex-machina-explores-the-limits-of-artificial-intelligence--but-how-close-are-we-to-machines-outsmarting-man-9996624.htmlIn this article, they speak about a film call "ex machina" and extend the subject to the limits of AI. They first speak about the film review and then they explain why it deals with the limits of AI. For a researcher a human is incapable to predict the nature of an intellect that will exceed is own and scientist who work on that call this thing the Singularity. In this debate there are to side: -we can work with robots and extend our lifespans indefinitly with there help -there will be tension which lead to a threat and maybe an extermination like in dramatatic films But both sides are agree to say that robots and also the AI will become better than us. we don't know if one of those thing will arrive soon or not because we are not entirely capable to represent our brain in terms of computing hardware but that thing is also a problem if we want to develop the AI. In fact we can not create something that we don't completely understand and that the limit to develop AI for the moment.
